IC 5194 does not exist. Bigourdan saw the object on one night in October of 1894 while searching for NGC 7246. He has one measurement of it, and his description reads (in rough translation), "Extremely faint object which I could not recover after the first pointing." He never saw it again, though he tried once more in October of 1898. There is nothing at all in his place, not even a faint star. See IC 5198 for more.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
