Large! Beautiful! a loose conglomeration of bright and dim stars spread across the field, most of this object visible in the 5° field of the 76mm with the 35mm Panoptic, most of the stars seem very blue, particularly when contrasted with the vivid orange of Aldebaran, strictly a binocular or RFT object, or simply unaided eye

Large, bright, a v-shaped asterism forms the structure of the cluster with the bright orange star Aldebaran (αTau) anchoring one corner, obvious to the unaided eye, fills the binocular view with a rich field, about 100+ stars in clumps through the entire 5° field
