Large, 15' in diameter, quite rich, a mass of 12th magnitude and fainter stars fill a roughly circular region, a handful of 7-8th magnitude stars frame the cluster on all sides

A large open cluster only a few degrees from Polaris, sweep the area with low power to pick up this cluster, a faint patch of stars in a field of fairly bright stars, 10' diameter, faint resolved, very rich
