IC 3964 is a star. Kobold's offsets, re-reduced with respect to the AC 2000.2 positions for his comparison stars, point directly at it. This is just one of about 15 new nebulae that he found during his work in the Coma Cluster in the spring of 1896.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
