Aug 8, 2020    Waikoloa, HI (map)
20cm f/6 Newtonian, Cave Astrola @ 76x
Seeing: 5 Transparency: 6 Moon: 0%

Big, bright, 15' across, resolved, a well defined dense core, quite nice if a bit low to appreciate properly

Aug 3, 2019    Kaʻohe, Mauna Kea, HI (map)
28cm f/10 SCT, NexStar 11" GyPSy @ 127x
Seeing: 6 Transparency: 6.5 Moon: 0%

A very nice classic globular, large, bright, fullt resolved, a brighter 11th magnitude star in the northeastern quadrant, the halo seems to extend for some ways out from the core with fainter stars

Apr 18, 2010    Hale Pohaku, HI (map)
46cm f/4.5 Newtonian, Deep Violet @ 175x
Seeing: 6 Transparency: 7 Moon: 0%

Bright, quite rich, fully resolved, a bright dense core, about 7' in diameter

Jun 1, 2008    Hale Pohaku, HI (map)
46cm f/4.5 Newtonian, Deep Violet @ 175x
Seeing: 8 Transparency: 7 Moon: 0%

Beautiful globular in a rich Milky Way starfield, bright, decent sized >10', fully resolved, bright and well condensed core, stellar population not homogeneous with a number of brighter members giving a coarse look

Apr 6, 2007    Hale Pohaku, HI (map)
15cm f/5 Newtonian, Primero @ 97x
Seeing: 8 Transparency: 7 Moon: 0%

Bright, good sized at 7' across, well resolved at 97x, attractive globular in thick starfield
