The brightest region in a very rich galactic starfield laced with nebulosity and dark voids, an oval area with brighter glow about 20' x 10' brightest on the northern margin, punctuated by a scattering of 7th to 8th magnitude stars, best viewed with the assistance of a nebula filter such as the Skyglow

Large, faint, difficult without the filter, with a skyglow filter the nebulosity is well defined, a 10' x 20' area running northeast-southwest, brightest along the nothern and western edge, seen amidst a rich galactic starfield
