IC 5348 = NGC 7744. Swift's RA is only 17 seconds of time off, but he and Dreyer missed the identity with NGC 7744. I suspect Dreyer thought that the object was too faint (Swift describes it as "vF" or "eF, eS, R, stellar", while John Herschel description boils down to "cB, S, vlE, svmbM *14" in the NGC. I have to confess that that made me look carefully, too -- and there is nothing else in the area that Swift could have seen. The identity is virtually certain.
