Seeing: 7 Transparency: 6 Moon: 39%

A bright cluster, large, coarse, fully resolved, two much brighter stars on the southeastern margin, φCas at mag 5.0 and HD7902 mag 7.0, with a scattering of 9-12 magnitude stars over a 15' area, arranged in notable clumps

46cm f/4.5 Deep Violet

Bright!! rich, not concentrated, a hundred stars or so with a very bright star on the south edge of the cluster, somewhat clumpy with a heavier band north-south in the center
