Brilliant white, the 5.2 magnitude κ2 Tau visible 6' south is listed as the B component in WDS, there is an 10th magnitude star visible halfway between κ1 Tau and κ2 Tau, the pair creates an impressive scene in the eyepiece
κ1 Tau and κ2 Tau are associated, Gaia EDR3 data shows matching parallax and high proper motion for the pair, the 10th magnitude in the middle is listed as CD in WDS and is indeed a binary consisting of two 10th magnitude stars separated by 5", they are however background stars not associated with the κ's, and so... a binary in the middle of a binary
