Oct 13, 2023    Waikoloa, HI (map)
20cm f/6 Newtonian, Cave Astrola @ 136x
Seeing: 6 Transparency: 7 Moon: 0%

Small, bright, a ¼' halo around a 10th magnitude star, appears stellar at low power, no color or structure noted

28cm f/10 SCT, NexStar 11" Gypsy @ 233x
Seeing: 6 Transparency: 6 Moon: 0%

A very nice little planetary, one of the best IC objects, small central star obvious, a brighter inner disk surrounded by a fainter halo, bluish cast

Jan 12, 2008    Hale Pohaku, Mauna Kea, HI (map)
46cm f/4.5 Deep Violet

Bright central star with a small halo, 20" diameter, stands magnification well and at 262x the halo appears to have a slight annular structure, but this may be an illusion caused by the bright central star, light green tinge

Nov 23, 2006    Las Cienegas NCA, Pima Co., AZ (map)
46cm f/4.5 Deep Violet

Small, bright, central star dominates a round bright halo with a nice light blue color

Dec 27, 2002    Sentinel, AZ (map)
46cm f/4.5 Deep Violet

Almost stellar planetary in Lepus, very sharp stellar core with a small halo, bright, but need power to show the non-stellar nature
