A 10' region of nebulosity and cluster surrounding the 9th magnitude star V402Pup, bright, obvious, partially resolved, with innumerable faint stars embedded in the glow, this cluster is also designated NGC2467, a notable clump of stars on the eastern margin forming the cluster Haffner 18, another clump 10' northwest is Haffner 19, a very pretty complex of cluster and nebulae in a very rich galactic starfield
