A delicate pair of 8th magnitude white stars that is part of Σ 761, a lovely trio of stars 8' northwest of σ Ori, Struve assembled this with the 7.7th magnitude HD 294271 as the primary and the 8th magnitude 8" pair HD 294272 as members B and C, The σ Ori group is in a rich region 1° south of Alnitak, the entire area spectacular in the eyepiece.
